los angeles-based british photographer nick stern reproduces the work of the widely recognized and prolific street artist banksy 
with his series 'you are not banksy'. the pieces re-enact famous artworks using real people to emulate the lionized scenes through 
staged photography.

the project echos renowned images such as 'snorting copper', 2005, the original currently located on curtain road in shoreditch; 'dog', 
which was created in october 2010 and located in southwark, london; and 'pulp fiction', also in london near old street tube station. 
stern captures the detail of each iconic stencil in a studio using props and models, bringing them to life.
